Gosh is it me or have the summer holidays flown by this year?
The new term starts back at Dance with Dash the week begining Monday 7th September with our new timetable running from then.
I am really looking forward to seeing you all and getting back into some kind of routine. With just 2 weeks left and the summer holidays nearly upon us, we are all very busy choroegraphing and rehearsing for our end of term sharing on Saturday 18th July. (dont forget your picnics)
Lots of new grades underway also following dance exams in June. Again 100% pass rate with fantastic results. 8 Distinctions, 22 Merits and 1 Pass.
I am now looking to September and the new September timetable and dates are now live. We have a new Pre-Primary Tap at 9.30 on a Saturday plus Adult ballet and a few time changes foloowing exams and higher grades. I am aware I am a pre school class short and am hoping to add another soon to a Monday afternoon?? Please dont forget to pick up a new time table and newsletter from me before the term ends.
Dance with Dash are also registered to take part in the Children in Need Tapathon, via The performers project again and we will start rehearsing for this over the coming months. This years routine is to 'uptown funk' Let me know if you want to take part, everyone is welcome whatever your ability.

I hope you had a great Easter. It was wonderful to catch up with many of the youngest members of Dance with Dash for Melody Bears teddy bears picnic at the end of March.
The timetable is running as normal this term with the exception of Thursday 14th May when there will be no Grade 4 ballet due to the Amateur dramitics performance.
Dance exams will be taking place on Sunday 14th June and letters with details of these will be with you soon.
I am running a free adult ballet class on Thursday 21st May 7.30-8.30 at The Townsned hall so please book on if you are interested. I am then hoping for this to be a regular class from Thursday 4th June.
To end the term on Saturday 18th July we will be having an informal sharing performance and picnic at The Townsend hall.

Hope you have all had a resful and fun half term and are looking forward to the new term starting tommorow Monday 23rd February. Lots of hard work over the last 6 weeks with dance exams on Sunday 8th February which included some of our youngest members taking there 1st Pre-Primary exams. I am very pleased and indeed very proud to anounce that yet again there was 100% pass rate with 18 candidates taking part, 11 achieved merit and 7 acheived distinction. Well done girls, all the hard work was worth it!
This is a short spring term of 5 weeks ending for the Easter holidays Saturday 28th March. If you would be interested in taking part in Easter workshops either for pre-school or school age children then please do get in touch to register your interest, and then i can get organising.
Finally i am considering adding a Pre-Primary beginers tap class for children aged 5 years and above. If this would be of interest to you then please do get in touch. I am looking to start after Easter and probably a saturday morning.

The weeks have flown by with this term ending Saturday 13th December. We have had a fantasitic term learning the Children in Need Tappathon routine with 21 students taking part . Still lots of heard work going on with dance exams approaching at the begining of February and some great christmas themed classes in Melody Bear. The new term begins Monday 5th January so book your place now!

The summer holidays are flying by after such a busy year. Outstanding exam results in March and a super fantastic show in July. Now i'm getting ready for September!
The New term starts back Monday 8th September with all classes running to timetable excluding Melody Bears 1st ballet, which will return on Monday 15th to allow you all to get settled into "big school".
Don't forget there are a few changes to the timetable and 2 new classes added to Saturdays. A new melody bear class at 9am followed by Pre-Primary modern at 9.30.

Well done to everyone who took dance exams on Saturday 22nd March. Everyone looked super smart and the day ran smoothly, so not long until we get the hard earned results!
This term ends Saturday 5th April and we return Tuesday 22nd April. Due to bank holidays Mondays classes will move to this Tuesday at the usual Monday times.
Easter dance workshops will take place on Saturday 12th April.

Welcome 2014! and welcome back to the new term. Especially to those who have just joined Dance with Dash. There are still places available and no waiting lists for classes this term, so please do contact me if you want to join us. whether its a pre-school Melody Bear class, beginners or those returning to dance we will give you a warm welcome.
This term is a 12 week term running from Monday 6th January through to Saturday 5th April. Half term is Monday 17th February to Saturday 22nd February.
I have applied to the BBO for an examination session which will take place in Shipston on Stour on either Saturday 22nd or Saturday 29th March and we are working very hard in class for these.
As of January Adult Tap classes have now moved from Long Compton Village hall to just across the road at Acorns Primary School.
Further exciting news for 2014 is we will be holding a show on the 12th July. Not to be missed so pencil the date in your diaries
