Sarah Dash BA (hons) Dance with Related Arts,
BBO Dip. level 4 QCA, MBBO
Freelance dance teacher based in Chipping Norton.

I studied Dance with related arts for three years at University College Chichester, graduating in 2003. Since then I have been involved in dance within a broad range of settings, initially working with those with learning difficulties teaching and assisting dance and drama in Chichester. Since moving back to my home in the Cotswolds I have worked for Gloucestershire dance leading dance clubs at primary and secondary schools, alongside being part of there Re-active age project, promoting dance for the active mature adult.

I have recently completed a Diploma in dance teaching with the British Ballet Organization obtaining an initial Teacher Training Certificate with a specialism in Classical ballet, becoming one of their teaching members, thus enabling me to follow their syllabus in ballet, Tap and Jazz.

Based in Chipping Norton I teach ballet, Tap and Modern classes for Chipping Norton School of dance and have now branched out alone starting dance classes in both Shipston-on-Stour (Warks.) and Bledington (Glos.). Through communicating with local School sports co-ordinators (SSCO) I am starting after school dance clubs in local primary schools, promoting dance and keeping children active.

I believe dance should be accessible and enjoyed by all whatever an individuals capabilities or background may be and am very much interested in promoting this through my own classes as well as attending and promoting integrated dance classes/performance myself.
